desktop pictures !

Show off!!!!

And that just makes me giggle.

Know what would be even cooler? Updated pictures of the user! 😃

user pictures are overrated

I put the laptop on a box now it's almost like I have a desk!

Sorry its so blurry, havent figured out the camera yet.. 👋de

God damn lessa, details please.

3 comps? 1 comp 3 monitors? what ? lol

i am envious as hell. thats pimp ! and a tray for the wacom! i always have to put mine in my lap

It looks like one of those triple-screen monitor dealies. Three monitors in one.

lol, I love them, dont think its anything as fancy as Vex's though, we havent upgraded it in prolly a year.

3x 19in Samsung SyncMaster 940Be monitors on an Ergotron stand
uh,, ok looking at the system info cause I really dont know what Im talking about
Intel Pentium 4 Dual Core 3.2, 2 gigs of ram ( asked hubby)
graphics cards are two Radeon X1800
can ask me more about it I can prolly figure out what else is in it hehe.

the red glowy thing on my keyboard is a fingerprint reader..( he calls it a biometric scanner) so I can fingerprint code files.. I think the hubby thought it was cool but ive never used it lol
the remote under the monitor goes to the computer so I can watch tv on it.. its hooked to cable ( sometimes I gotta watch CSI during raids you know 😛 )
also under my monitors you can see my Idog and my dead ipod

One computer.. I had a little Dell but its processor died so its out of commission for now..

... and people call *me* spoiled.

that is one nice setup there =) I was just looking at apple displays for shits n giggles to hook my macbook into ... they want $900 for a 23". they can shove that up their ass. I know apple is all about the sleek and sexy, but its got 14ms! thats 9ms more than my 24" dell ultrasharp!

I do want to buy an alternate display for my mac once i pay off my beast alienware ( pimp system but holy god - what was i thinking paying $4k ) i've got a 17" viewport on it ( the mac ), but its wider aspect than my dell, which lowers the amount of vertical screen real estate i can get -- which is pretty damn important when you're building websites and such !

and HELLO? fingerprint readers are the shit! i want one. i'd be printing -everything-. just for the hell of it. cause its hi-tech!

okay, still figuring out his whole dual-screen thing. since i am usually on mylaptop in the kitchen where i can keep an eye on the munchkin while doing whatever, i don't get to use the stuffs i've got upstairs. but when i do hook up to the... damn. went blank. that port thingie i got for my laptop, i have dual monitor. looking at lessa's screens - are you running poser/daz on 2 screens? you can do that??? i have so got to play with this stuff, see what i can and can't do... i need more hours in the day!!!!!

Yeah it acts like it is just one big screen, just pass the mouse from one side to the other, If I have separate windows up in separate screens, like if Im two boxing EQ or something just, click on whichever window I want to use, just like you would with one.

I could stretch them out so they span across both windows but then i have that space in the middle of my view lol. But this way I can stick all the toolbars for daz or PS or PSP on one side and have a big workspace on the center screen.

You see under the glass the poor books shoved under it? Hubby did that ( I was reading Vampire again at the time *sigh*) to help support the weight of the monitors.. cause theyre heavier than the max weight for the desk lol. Cant wait til I can get a real wood desk!

The new clean desk

I'll have to clean mine off before I'll take a picture

Ditto 😵

I cleaned it off and discovered that my camera needs batteries

I doubt Indiana Jones could find my desk with all of the shit it's buried under. I am in the process of moving, so my desk ends up being where I put all of my packed boxes for some reason.

thanks lessa! since my sis is on vacation (which does not mean that she's hanging out and relaxing - oh no, she's pulling up carpet and doing god only knows what else for the next two weeks - and her boyfriends house is apparantly on the list as well - i pointed out when he tried to complain that he was the one who gave her a key...) i may just be upstairs for the duration. have to try that. i have played EQ2 with a browser on the other screen - great for trying to figure out where the hell i'm supposed to go to complete some quest that has me stumped!!!

Well I bought a new desk and got it all put together and so I took a picture.

Here you go.

Uh ... Sarah...you didn't label those tall objects on either side of your monitor...er...they may be speakers...but I'm not sure...😉

lol - sorry for teasing. your desk is smaller than mine but SO MUCH BETTER organized! Guess I'll have to go home and clean mine now :P

ZOMG! I forgot to label the speakers.

You know it's only that organized, because I've only had it like 24 hours.
