For the horde (WIP) CC needed :)

I don't play WoW or have any idea really about what the characters look like so I can't really give much input there.... (sorry I still play good 'ol EQ lol!) but I think he looks cool!

Is that M4 with the creature morphs or the Freak?

As for the armor, yeah it can be a PITA trying to get things to fit sometimes, but all the poke through's can be fixed easily enough in postwork if needed.

aye its a mix of some freak and creature 🙂 and i used M3 oldie armor *giggle* and it fitted alot easier then the m4 stuff O.o now gonna find some textures or shaders to make it look more rugged? or something its alittle to shiny and pretty for the taurens as for a SS sorry i forget some people dont play wow (i dont any more) so been using a SS on google here for alittlle help 😃

After looking at screenshots, I think he's looking pretty awesome.

One that that catches my eye right off is his hooves...well I don't know if there's anything for poser/daz that could be used to create the hooves like a taurens. Hrmm wait.. maybe you could use an elephant (or one some other kind of animal) and use its feet to replace the hooves so it gives the toes like the Tauren ingame? You know.. turn off visibility (make transparent) on the body parts but leave only feet and move'em around so they look like part of the creature legs. An idea atleast.

Armor wise... can't help ya there. I don't seem to have the best of luck with textures. Maybe you can find a freebie seamless texture via google that might work. Other than that, I'm clueless. LOL

Best way I can think of to tell ya what to fix, is to show ya what I've been working on for a while now when I feel like going back to it since it's really just an experiment for me. I'm guessing most of his body will be covered by armor since he's a warrior, so you really won't have to worry as much about his fur more than what's there already anyway. His head... Roz got me on this too, so I share with you 😉 Widen it up! Take his head, and scale up the x axis quite a bit. Make sure you tweak the neck to meld with it as well. His hooves... I've not played with the M4 creature stuff just yet, but the V4 ones have a morph for making the hooves bigger. Jack it up a lot, they have big feets! I wish there was a way to (pardon the pun) beef up the legs so they didn't look so puny compared to the rest. M4's might, so make sure you check for that too. Hmmm what else... oh hair! Not sure what kinda hair your man has in game, but if nothing else make sure you get that hair going down the back of the head/neck. There's no real way we can get that hunched look going that they have in game without some serious morphing unfortunately. I ended up using 3 different hairs for my girl just to try and give it a really thick look in the back to mask that fact. Anywho, you're on the right track. Hopefully it doesn't give you too much grief 😉 Oh and ignore the naked state of my gal's skin. I haven't gotten back to her since I bought some cool fur shaders that just might do the trick 😃

here a small update made the face more umm biefy? and i'm still working on the legs >.< but think i'm getting close umm ignore his bracers lol i figured i'm gonna wait ill i get his pose i want before i bother with more armor ^_^ . and yea i saw your cow eve she looked great (yes i peek in your WIP gal lol) ^^

I personally like the second better than the first, but Imight try some sort of dreads. Think hed look good in dreads 🙂

i'll go looking at rendo for some other hair , i dont have a whole lot hehe , i will be hadding braids as his char had em...i think LOL just tring to get a base of it 🙂

sooo to even things out well uneven adding my brothers warlock Succubus anyone have any tips on the legs? prob would have to make my own textures if i use the creature legs but was wondering if their was anything else out there or not 🙂

what about a skin shader on creature legs? just make it match whatever texture you use?

she has the creature legs but ended up cutting them off for the mag cover, you can see its a fairly close match though. 🙂

skin shader?

*nods* adjustments to make the surface look like skin rather than plastic. I dont know if you use Poser or Daz, but there are a few availble for each program, or you can twist the dials yourself 🙂

i use daz , i saw the elite shaders and picked em up but they come out white O.o

what if you just turn the diffuse the color you want it to be?

pink has the shader on it , tho it doesnt work if a texture alrdy on it but then again i dont really understand how it should be working.

If you want to keep an image texture but add a color shader on top of it (with DS), hold down CTRL (or whatever the MAC equivalent is) while clicking the shader button, then select "ignore" for "Map Settings" on the pop-up box that appears.
